wow. a ton of unpostables! how exciting! lol |
Wow.. what a gem! I would even think twice about getting this for free on Freecycle... not worth the gas money to go get it! |
LOL. I love when a book is described as having an old book smell instead of moldy. |
At least they are honest when describing them. lol |
And I doubt they are going to get any negative feedback! Like what, you're gonna complain because the books aren't as crummy as described??? hahahaha |
My question..WHO will bid on such a sorry group of books? I must go put it in my "watch" group. |

Did anyone check "seller's other items"? 5 pairs of women's undies "new without tags" ... yeah, right ..... Eww! Oh, and, um, staying on topic ... um ... ok, I can't make this relate to PBS. Sorry for the hijack ... --Catt Last Edited on: 1/19/08 2:32 AM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

At least they were honest about the book condition, not like some here who have unpostables on their shelf and then say "you're too picky" Last Edited on: 1/19/08 9:48 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

Well the ebay seller has great descriptions. I loved this one. |
Is it just me, or is Flik flipping the finger in the face of prospective buyers? |
I believe he's shouting, "Here I go for the colony and for oppressed ants everywhere." |

From the same ebay seller...another great group...these also smell of smoke ! Description: This is a lot of 20 well used, worn paperback books in acceptable reading condition. All have creased, slanted spines, worn covers with creases, tears and edgewear. Many have a stamp on top page edges or names inside and some have loose bindings. They are from an estate sale and smell of smoke. |
we gotta get this person to join PBS!!!! what a great resource ;-). |
Check this one and here's what it says near the end of the seller's description. This is the same seller. lol I do not notice any odor but I will tell you that I don't have the best smeller in the world. |
They have UNDERWEAR on eBay?!?! Holy mother of Murphy - yuk. I'm off to go check that out - heck with the books. lol |
And the only question that keeps going through my mind, following the paths in this thread, is "are any of them commenting on odors of the underwear"? ***thinking to myself that I really need to quit clicking on this thread.... |
