Originally written in 1915, thank goodness it was updated to 1936. Everything about putting on a party (it made my head hurt just thinking about it, you couldn't just pick up a pizza and some brewskis on the way home back then, apparently). Starts with "Duties, Dress and Requisites of a Hostess" to "Table Decorations and Flower Combinations" with a couple of chapters on formal teas thrown in. Somewhere,someone wants and needs this book, but probably not down here in the Sonoran Desert.
