Liked the concept of this book a whole lot more than the actual book itself. I didn't realize it was an erotic novel, which is fine, but I felt the book as well as the constant sex scenes to be unrealistic and tedious. The hero and the heroine both were irritating and I didn't like either one much. I ended up flipping thru the last half just to find out what happens to them and to be done with it only to find out it didn't end any better than it began.

Very steamy book, which I enjoyed because I like steamy books.

However, the heroine did get very annoying. Because she's a size 16 she's been teased all her life and has very low self-esteem, which hinders her relationship with the heroine. As a woman who is big (bigger than a size 16 even) she just came off as annoying. I was never as bad as she was, and the constant whining and asking "Am I good enough?" just became much too annoying nearing the end of the book.

I also love how the model on the cover is SO not even close to a size 16.

STEAMY!!! As a plus size woman, I appreciate Bella Andre's endorsement that full figured are just as wicked and sexy as their thin counter-parts. As with most of Andre's books , the plot does move a little too quickly then it would in the real world, but her sex scenes are the real highlight. Dirty and juicy with a touch of class...just the way I like it!

First, the model on the cover is NOT a size 16 or even close to a plus-sized woman as the heroine is. One of the ways this book is different from others in the series is the size of the heroine. So many times in the story we're told she's not thin or slim, but the publishing company puts a slim woman on the book cover. I'm not plus-sized, but I think it's important the cover stay true to the book.

The heroine has the worst self-esteem I've come across in a story. Nearly every other page is filled with some reference to her size. The hero is a jerk though he eventually reforms his ways, but by the time he did, and it comes near the end of the story, I didn't care about him and felt the two deserved each other.

The story is pretty flimsy. The heroine has lusted after the hero for years. He hasn't noticed her until now. They have a passionate romance in Tuscany. A big misunderstanding happens. Who didn't see that coming? But the big misunderstanding is neatly resolved and a happy ending occurs. Take Me is a far better book that the next in the series (Love Me), but that said it's very predictable and filled with one sex scene after another. I have nothing against those scenes, but more story and less making out would have been better.

Romance is not my usual genre but this book blew me away - I loved it - it had it all! Heart-fluttering romance, steamy sex, self-realization and family ties, complete with the allure of Tuscany. And how nice to have a real-life, size 16 main character!

TAKE ME is well written - it captured me from the first page and I was driven to keep reading as long as I could without putting it down. The strong character development helped me connect with each character so intensely that I felt like each event was happening to me in my own life. It was very easy to get drawn deeply into the book until the very end, which, I might add, was wonderful.

What a fantastic read on so many levels!

Really enjoyed this book. It was quite refreshing to see the heroine as a plus size girl at 16 and not a size 2 bag of bones. Nothing againist smaller people but as I am plus size myself, it was very nice to read a book that looked at romance from a different angle where I could put myself in her shoes. Thanx Mrs. Andre for your insight. A really good book, just wish the ending was a little different. Guess I can find out what happens in the next one that follows the sister and brother to their own romance.

This is definately erotic with a cap "E." It's set in San Francisco my home turf so that was fun. I enjoyed this one eventhough it;s not what I usually read.

A designer coerces her sister, an interior designer, into modeling despite her protests! She is a curvy, woman that has always hidden behind large, loose clothes. When she puts on the dress her sister designed she is transformed into a beauty which attracts the attention of a man she has loved since they were children. The friendship renews, leads to a business trip to Italy and so much more. Good Cinderella story about a woman that has hidden her beauty and best self because of her size.

Size 16 Lily Ellis had wanted Travis Carson forever. But when he finally wakes up, and the passion between them is supernatural, she is still filled with self-doubts. Steamy sex scenes; very erotic.

I loved this book because of the story line that even a woman with curves can get her man. True love can happen for us all. This is a must read!!!!!

Honestly, this book was a disappointment. I like romance with erotic scenes but I felt this was more trash than anything. Some of the words the author used including the c word was offensive. I hate that word as a woman and I just don't understand the use of it in a romance novel. The book centered around full figured Lily who is in love with her ex childhood friend Travis. Travis' twin brother Luke is Lily's best friend. Lily has always lusted after Travis and after Lily struts the catwalk in a sexy way, Travis finds himself drawn to her. This book is about Lily finally getting what she wants (Travis) along with some self esteem about her body image. I didn't really related to this heroine because she was a wimp and a whiner. I actually wished she fell in love with Luke, her best friend. Not a great read for me.
