The only reason this is unpostable is due to writing in 1 place - a somewhat (& apparently unintentionally) comical entry which traverses the spaces allocated for Feb 22, 23, & 24 (book does not specify year or day of the week in any way - just the days of each month) - whoever had this book previously seems to have felt compelled to annotate a blurb about an overheard conversation, as well as the text "Late afternoon walked into my desk." (anyone possibly desiring this book should not feel compelled to stick to a trend of recording clumsy moments ;) )

On the back of the book is a description of what the book is:  "A Day Book for all seasons... all through the year... combining the glory of medieval pictures with prose and poetry to reflect the humour, the pleasure, the devotion and the practical knowledge of gardeners then and now."

Most of the originals associated with the pictures printed within, per the credits, are from various libraries & museums in England & France.  The pages have pretty border prints, & the typeface used within is evocative of medieval timeframe.

Other than the one place where writing exists (as described above), the book is in very good condition, the binding is strong, & the pages are clean & bright.

1 credit

(Thanks)
