Who doesn't love Sylvia? She's a 50-something cynic who watches too much TV, smokes too much, eats too much, and has a comment for everything. Hollander's primitive drawing style is a good complement to her sharp humor. While some strips are dated (obviously '80s), Sylvia's ongoing comments to the television and her long bubble baths are timeless.

If you haven't joined Sylvia's world, come on in. The water (and the beer and chocolate) is fine!

Planet Sylvia is off the wall, clever, and very funny. I liked the personal notes she included; gives you an insight into what the author was thinking. A must for Sylvia fans.
