He owed his livelihood to the Tanners, not to mention his life. So when asked to keep an eye on their estranged family member, Luke Jordan agreed. He answered Lauren Tanner's handy man ad...as directed..to spy on her.
Soon the lovely new resident of Tanner's Crossing became more than just an assignment for him. She was sensual, bold and able to look beyond the scars Luke could never ignore. But she was of Tanner blood and therefore hands-off. Until the threats began and he questioned which Tanner deserved his allegiance..for all time.

Maybe the best Sil. Desire title I've read, and certainly the best recently. Although it's part of a series, it isn't hard to follow if you haven't read others in the series (which I haven't). Good characterizations of main characters and a couple of good supporting characters as well.
