Tanner's Scheme is an awesome entry in the Breeds series, the best I've read so far! The plot is well-crafted, the characters are interesting, captivating, and sympathetic and the erotic scenes do not disappoint - HOT! HOT HOT HOT! I loved this book, needless to say. I'm so pleased to see the story/plot becoming more developed and not just the erotic scenes, one after another (not that I don't love them!).

Tanner's Scheme was very good. I had no hopes for it considering my displeasure of the last two books, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. I really liked Tanner and Scheme, but Scheme was the winning factor in this story. I thought she was strong, loyal, fierce and protective when she needed to be. I really admired her desire to do the right thing concerning the breeds. I'm also glad that we found out who the spy was in this book and that the author didn't drag it out as a plot device for subsequent stories. The sex scenes were numerous and I did end of skimming the last few, but I'm happy to say that I will not give up on this series yet.

Different from the other breed books, but still enjoyable. I read the whole thing in just a few hours. Leigh explores some themes here she hasn't before in this part of the breed series, such as voyeurism.

Her father wants the Breeds destroyed even if it means killing his daughter, Scheme, who has been working against him for 8 years and that is known to only a few. Tanner isn't one of them and he wants revenge so he kidnaps her. When Tanner realizes Scheme is a target of her fathers along with all he holds dear he will stop at nothing to protect her. Of course this is a Lora Leigh book so you know that when the mating heat takes over Tanner and Scheme sparks will fly and sex will abound. Looking forward to Dawn's Awakening, next in this series. HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!

Tanner's Scheme is the best plotted Breed novel I've read to date. It's the best book in the series. I finished this in one evening even though I had to stay up until midnight. There are surprising twists and a lot of intrigue. If you like Lora Leigh's stories about the genetically-engineered humans with large feline DNA, you'll enjoy this story. There's a greater emotional connection between the hero/heroine than in the previous stories.

In the previous Breed books, the heroine typically doesn't like the hero, but in this book the two are very much into each other. They start off circling each other like two predators about to do combat when it reality they want something else. The verbal sparring is very nice. Scheme, the double agent for the Breeds, is probably the best heroine to date in these books. She's the type of heroine I admire. Very strong, capable, intelligent, but flawed. Tanner is a great match for her. What's not to like about the hero, Tanner? He's playful, charming, a seemingly easy-going playboy who is a PR genius for the Breeds, but Leigh shows us beneath that carefully crafted veneer he's much more serious and every bit the predator that his Bengal Tiger background makes him to be.

I loved this book enough not to part with it. Sorry, ladies. If you haven't read Lora Leigh's books before, you should know they are quite explicit when it comes to love scenes. These books aren't suitable for teens. Now if you're an adult - enjoy! If you haven't read the Breed series in order, you can still follow the story without problems.
