Apologies if this topic has been started before.  Does any one have "Summon The Keeper" which is the first book of the series?  I've found the 2nd and 3rd book in this series, and I've ordered them.  Understandably, I'd like to read the first book....well, first. :)

Thanks to any one who can help.

Cheers!

Lissa

Jeez, I just sent mine out. You really do want to wait and read Summon The Keeper first. I enjoyed them very much. Hope you find a copy soon.

Sorry, I got all mine at the library.  I just wanted to say that I loved this series.  I wished that there were more of them.  This was one of the 1st fantasy books I read and it got me hooked.

I loved that series too, and yes, definitely read them in order. Sorry I can't help you, I read and traded these off a couple years ago.

Are there only three books in this series?

I couldn't find a website for the author, and amazon is only showing three. I hope that's all there is

I just found this and it has pictures of all the books covers and a bit of biographical info about the author.  I have her on my list to read, I have only read Sing the Four quarters by Huff but plan on reading more.  Hope this helps

Yep, there are only three in that series.  I love Tanya Huff's writing, and I own almost all of her books...but I am keeping them, sorry.  I didn't think "Summon the Keeper" was wishlisted though...I got it pretty quickly here on this site.

edit - I just checked...there is a copy of the paperback in the system f you want to order it.

You are not alone, Matt. I'm keeping the summons series too. It took me a little while to get all three from pbs, then I had to wait for time to read them. I'm taking number three with me on anniversary trip. May not be fair to hubby, but I'll try to hold off starting it until his hockey game starts later this week. One and two were awesome.

I read the quarters series earlier this year and was suprised at how different her summons series is. She's very talented.

I have to go looking for another series so I can get in line to get them all. I don't think I could wait to read the next book in any of her series very long, I'd be at the bookstore.

She's so good, tho, I should go buy something of hers. Is there a name for that guilt?

Definitely wait and read this one first.  It's a great series.  There are none posted right now, but it's not WL either so you'll be #1.

The Keeper's Chrinicles have a lighter and more humorous tone than the rest of Tanya Huff's books, in my opinion.  I read her Blood series first, and loved it, and also the Confederation series, which is science fiction.
