I have them but I'm keeping them. The first several are fabulous, then they start to go downhill a little IMO (the last two at least.)  So prepare yourself for that now so you won't be as disappointed. Good luck finding the books and enjoy!

I was looking at these the other day.  I put some on my RL.  I'm glad to hear they're good.  I have so many series partially started though, I'm going to wait until I catch up on some others before I start another one.

i just finished the 2nd and liked how she kept up with a few of the other ongoing stories . I really like kid and nikki and am anxiuos to read their own book.

most are mentioned again though I didn't see much of Regan and what's  his name..sigh can't believe I forgot oneof my favorite guys! but Kid and Nikki show up again in the 4th book I think it is. He's gone during the 3rd one and that one is a bit more graphic about what h appened to Creed and JT(at least the images were disturbing to me if I dwelled onthem you know but I'm a wuss). the 3rd one is very fast paced and sorta cliffhangerish with Creed and a woman deemed ot be a threat but I ended up liking Creed a lot and was rooting for their relationship. other characters take on different roles and others show up but I had trouble getting into crazy love(the 5th one) and didt' get back to them and now can't find the 5th one LOL but have the 'loose' ones that came out last year that connect to this series. I think one has the DEA agent who was working with Kid in the 4th one...

I ate them up like candy until book 6. I have the first in the "new" related series, but have been hesitant to start it because of my burn out. Dylan and Skeeter could have been sooo much better.

Samantha - I so agree that Dylan and Skeeter's book should have been so much better.  They tease the hell out of that relationship in the previous books and I so wanted to be WOWed when I read their story.  I still have Cutting Loose to read (Honey and C. Rydell) but I read On The Loose and as someone mentioned, it was nice to revisit the Steele Street Crew.

Yeah Susan, I'll probably dig On The Loose out of Mount TBR sometime soon :)

But while most peoples favorite couple was Kidd and Nicki, mine was Skeeter and Dylan, so was a real pisser when that one was such a let down. But it is a testament to how much I enjoyed reading Janzen that I even still remember all of those books so well, when most of the time I can't remember a couples name 3 days after reading the book.

I am on the 4th one now and loke how she has a 2nd storyline running thru all of them...but shes running out of characters  lol...does the last book recap where everyone is..like hawkins and kat having there baby, creed and cody...etc?

The secondary story in Travis and Red Dog's book features C. Smith Rydell and Honey York. And yes the last book recaps most everyone in the former books. I just finished Cutting Loose with Zachary Prade (aka Alejandro Campos from Rydell and Honey's book, On the Loose) and Lily Robbins. It is just as good as it's predcessors. I can't wait for Johnny Ramos' book, Loose and Easy coming in Nov. 2008. This is one of the few series I am collecting. My favorite is Crazy Love with Dylan Hart and Skeeter Bang. I also really like the one with Superman (aka Hawkins) and Kat. The one with Quinn Younger was really cool too. Anyone interested in discussing this series in further detail, please feel free to PM me.

Pam

EDT because I apparently can't spell tonight.

ok gotta find 'crazy love'..it's here somewhere cause I was taking it with me back and forth to wrk in case I got in the mood fof it! I plowed through the first 4 then got hung up on this one but have all including the  other 2 that tie into this series. My faves were the 3rd(creed's story), 1st and 3rd sorta tied, then the 2nd one! that's just so far though...

I just read a review of the 2 steele street books (the 6th and 7th as they are being called ) and it says that dylan and skeetr are mentioned alot in the 2nd one cutting loose.

anyone read these ones? is this true? Do they pick up from the crazy books? I thought they were a different series but now i am confused!
