I used to be signed up with The Pony Club, and LOVED all of the cool stuff we got! Included in the package of goodies was always one or two horsey-themed books that were easy, cool reads for me back then. Since those few years ago when I was so enthralled with the club, I've packed away most of my swag. Upon taking everything out of the box and looking through it, I took out this book, Tears for a Tall Horse, and figured I'd read it again for old times sake. I am SO pleasantly surprised with the quality writing in this book. I think it would make a fantastic movie. [Someone get on that, please?! ;D] From the plot line, to the cohesiveness that Ann Wigley crafts the story with, it just all flows so well. It's not cheesy, either, like most of the Pony Club books tended to be. I'd give this book a 5/5, as a matter of fact.
A mystery of a girl, an abandonded horse, and a cyring girls who's haunting the house! This will be interesting!
