I'm not quite sure how to categorize this book. It is certainly not a romance. The cover claims "an erotic fiction novel." There are erotic scenes, but as a piece of erotica it proved disappointing. Ad Exec Tess Wakefield takes a prestigious job in NY. In her first week her palm pilot and important files are stolen. She accuses fellow ad exec Danny and he in turn leaves the firm. What follows is Tess' search for a location for her newest ad account and her subsequent exploration of her own sexuality at an S & M club.

Great -- if you like soft-core porn about women who like discipline. Otherwise, not so hot.

I was really disappointed in this book. The blurb on the cover promised steamy erotica flavored with S&M. It wasn't erotic, it wasn't even romantic. It was just lame.
A great erotica story.
