A very good book. I have to admit to crying at parts in this book. The storyline was so much more "real life" than fantasy. This was an established couple who had been married for 10 years when the wife's secret from the past is exposed. It has more of a this could really happen feel to it than some romance books have. You'll see what I mean if you read it. I really enjoyed it.
Tessa Logan's past has suddenly caught up with her. She never told her husband of 10 years about the accident that resulted in two fatalities. She never told him about the drug arrest. She never told him about her stint in prison. She knew Dan's honesty and integrity as a District Attorney would not let him look at her the same way. Now a man from her past has tracked her down and wants her back. If he can't have her, he'll expose her past mistakes to her husband and the community.
This was an interesting book. Kathryn Shay's characters alway seem like real people with real problems. I was torn between being upset with Dan's reaction to the secrets his wife had kept from him; and understanding that I would be very mad too if someone had done the same thing to me.
wonderful story and makes you realize that have found your soul mate when they are their for you no matter what. And they stick by your side.
Great story, packed with so much emotion it made me cry a few times. A must read!
What her husband doesn't know....could destroy them all
Dan Logan thinks he's got it all;a great job as a D.A. the ideal marriage and two wonderful children. Now he's been nominated Citizen of the year. Seems his rigid pursuit of honesty and integrity has paid off.
He has no idea that his picture perfect life is about to be shattered.
A man from Tessa's Logan sorbid past has tracked her down and is intent on getting her back. If he can't have her, he won't hesitate to expose her past mistakes. One way or another , her secrets will be revealed. Even if Dan can live with the terrible truth, can he survive Tessa's deceit?
Tessa Logan's past comes back to haunt her when an ex-boyfriend from her youth gets out of jail after more than a decade and she's forced to tell her district attorney husband, Dan, about her past. Dan isn't sure he can forgive her, and when her old boyfriend ends up dead, Dan is arrested. Kathryn Shay's Tell Me No Lies (4) is interesting and has an attention-holding, unique plot that will hook readers.
