Two undercover cops. Of course they end up doing it. Then they get married. The book just doesn't sell it that well.

I liked it a lot! It was very funny. There was an excalent scene at the beggning of the book. You'll know which one I'm talking about when you get to it.

The cover is the best part of this book. Overall I would say this was an ok read. It's nothing special. It's pretty forgettable. The story could have been much more. The character development is missing. The author goes on forever about how the hero and heroine don't want to be attracted to each other. We get it. It's an old plot device. But make me care. Make me see they really belong together. I didn't think the hero should have been allowed to verbally put down the heroine as often as he did. She's supposed to be strong and independent, but there were many scenes where I felt she lacked any assertive skills. The opening chapter is pretty funny. I'll say that much, but there wasn't much else I found interesting. I would not buy this book. Get it from a swap on this site or from the library.

While a readable book, I was slightly disappointed. I guess I'd like to have seen more character development. I mean, it was like oops almost done with the book and bam!, the h/h declare their love. Huh? I think it was way too rushed. That said, the beginning of the book does grab you and make you want to keep reading.

A bit cartoonish in writing style, this is the story of woman who comes from a long line of cops, who goes undercover with a hunky cop.

first book I have read by Karen Kelley. I enjoyed the book. The Hero is a new cop in town and he really tries to keep his lust for the Sherriffs daughter at bay.... doesn't work and the ride these two take while finding love is funny. All in all, a very enjoyable easy read

Actually I found this boring. So much him wanting her and her wanting him. Then he puts her down and she puts him down. Where is the story? Yes, there is sex. I just flipped through the pages looking for decent dialog between any characters.
