Time-Travel Romance.
1990's Career Girl - An assertive, independent business woman, Missy Monroe was having second thoughts about marrying gentle, gallant Jeff Dalton. What kind of marriage could she have with a man who left her feeling so blah?
1840's Blushing Bride - A shy, timid Victorian virgin, Melissa Montgomery was terrified at the thought of her arranged marriage to arrogant domineering Fabian Fontenot. How could she survive a wedding night with a man whose animal magnetism had her quaking in her boots?
Accidentally trading places and partners on their wedding day, Missy and her long-ago namesake each found herself in a bewildering new time, married to a husband she didn't know. And each would have to discover for herself whether she was part of an odd couple or a match made in heaven.

I was CAPTIVATED by the content of this book. I could not put it down. I find it funny that the families couldn't tell that it was two different people. I gave it 4 because the ending could have been a lot better, on the real though this book was the $h!t

I loved this book. My favorite characters were Jeff & Melissa, and
I did not find Jeff to be a wimp. He was very much male. He was incredibly protective of Melissa, and the things he said about Fabian really put that guy in his place! I do think, though, the book should have been called something like "Misadventures with Missy" or "Missy Makes Things Miserable". She was very dominating,
however, both her & Melissa made changes for the better through their personal growth in different time periods. Missy became less
selfish & Melissa became more self-assured. One reviewer said this
book had a sad ending, but I didn't find a sad ending. I think it
ended on a very happy tone. I had a lot of favorite parts. One
was when Jeff took Melissa to dinner, only to have the waiter hit on her, not once, but twice ... another was when Missy discovered she loved the taste of cigars & brandy on Fabian's mouth ... another was when
George told Melissa he knew she was not Missy. I definitely recommend this book and I will read another book by Eugenina Riley again.
