Veronique Dutot and Burton O'Rourke each have something the one one needs. Veronique is a talented chef am Buton happens to need a checf for a new cooking show he is producing. Veronique, on the other hand needs he visa extended so she can stay in Vancouver, near her former mother-in-law. Buton proposes an old fashioned soultion to their very modern problems....A temporary marriage. A marriage of convenience. Veronique accepts, except there is nothing temporary about the way she is stating to feel.
