There is a lot of seduction in this book. Roman is a whole lot of Alpha. A Jaguar and shadow shifter, he is one of the leaders of his race. They are also fighting Rogues for the right and power to make decision for their people; rogues who prefer violence, and killing to peaceful coexistancee with humans. Kalina is a cop assigned to the DEA to locate and take out drug dealers dealing with the South American drug cartels. Cartels that the Rogues control. She is also Roman's mate and does not know who she is or who her parents were. Interesing for the first book in this Shadow Shifters series. Lots of sexy seduction, but I am not shy and I love a good jungle cat story. This is just the beginning of a promising new series. Can't wait for Seduction's Shift due in September, 2012.

This being my FIRST paranormal series...I really have NOTHING to compare it to...so all I can say is IMHO it's an AMAZING read...a THRILLING, suspenseful page-turner...with an INTRIGUING plot...and an ENTERTAINING and colorful cast of characters...the intimate connection between Kalina and Roman is mysterious, INTENSE and quite SPICY...and I'm eagerly anticipating the next book in this series...well done Mrs. Arthur!
First book I have read from this author and it was that bad, the main charters were wrestling with their own feelings and then throw them together it was stressful, bu they came together and helped each other with what was stressing them out.
