85% of murders are committed by men; this one is for the other 15% - the ladies.

There are short vignettes of some of the most notorious murderesses out there (some you've heard of, some perhaps not). The author shares interesting facts and pictures, when available (not of actual crime scenes - this is supporting info). She also gives her opinion about why some women turn violent and adds comments on those that were found "not guilty" due to lack of evidence or their charm. A number of these ladies just disappeared and a few knew their lifestyle would eventually kill them.

There's a recommended reading list in the back if the book whets your appetite for more.

Includes: Beulah May Annan and Belva Gaertner, Winnie Ruth Judd, Jean Harris, Aileen Wuornos, Belle Gunness, Kate Bender, Lai Choi San, Frankie Silver, Lizzie Borden and more.
