NO NEED FOR A MAN...
When emerald eyed Jessalyn Kendrik volunteered to help the Texas Rangers track down El Halcon, she did it for reasons of her own. The vicious Comanchero had killed her father and she was out for revenge. Heaven help anyone who got in her way--especially Cale Cody, an arrogant gunslinger who'd hired on for the mission. If the handsome drifter thought he could make her stay at home and make quilts, he was in for a big surprise. She might enjoy letting him try to persuade her, though. She'd savor his brazen kisses, revel in the warmth of his daring embrace--and then tell him exactly what she thought of his high-handed ways!

NO PLACE FOR A WOMAN...
One look at Jesse's adorably stubborn chin told Cale the copper-haired beauty was nothing but trouble. He had to keep her from tracking El Halcon; she might know the West Texas desert better than any man, but she was gonna get herself killed if she didn't smarten up. Cale didn't know why he ached to protect her...maybe it was the way her soft, lithe body curled against him in the night, or the glow in her eyes when he stroked her sweet skin...but he vowed to keep her safely beside him, tamed by the heat of his Tender Texas Touch.
