This book was awesome! I loved the way that Sue Henry weaves the stories of the past and present-day Alaska in this one. Lots of suspense and twists with some coll Alaska history thrown in. This was the first Sue Henry novel that I ever read and it got me hooked!

I love this whole series! So interesting to learn about Alaska, mushing, and sled dogs, while solving a mystery with Jessie and Alex.

This one did not strike me, as did some of Henry's previous books. Still maybe someone else will enjoy it more.

I love this series. This book had more about Alex and his cases. Jessie only get involved a little bit, but tha almost cost her life. This tale about the gold rush days and hidden gold was great. I didn't figure out who the murder(s) were until the very end. I recommend this book. Great Story!!! Barbara
