When you think of Christian fiction Grisham is not who you think of, but The Testament is a super Christian fiction. I really enjoyed it. Similiar to Grisham's other novels in its legal suspense, The Testament adds a new spin by drawing the main character into a dangerous journey through the remote regions of Latin America to find a missionary. This novel explores greed, materialism, sin and redemption. |

I think Grisham definitely falls in the category of Christians who write fiction and not a Christian fiction author. |

If he is a Christian (and I know it is not my business to judge), he has become a very liberal one, judging from his last few books. I wanted to throw The Appeal across the room after the way it portrayed Christians as hypocritical simpletons. I know there are some like that, but that stereotype is old and tired.
