But they lived in a land scorched by hatred for the indian, and where Rachel was courted by Brand's enemy, Texas Ranger Jason Brown. Here one kiss could seal the lover's doom and make Rachel an outcast from her own kind. Here amid danger and deadly enemies, Brand had to choose between life and love -- as the woman who ruled his heart surrendered to him forever.
