I was scanning the forums looking for deals when I noticed a couple people had posted deals on used textbooks. I would always be interested in old textbooks because I like to study. (yeah I know dork) However the two people posting deals listed the deal ended about twenty minutes after I saw the post.
SO. Going to throw this out there, I love to collect the old text books, and would love to make deals on them. I would primarily be interested in the Social Sciences, like psychology, sociology, child and infant development, etc. Or any history books, and any math books. (algebra, calculas, trig, geometery, accounting etc) Biggest thing I am not looking for is science books. (Chemestry gave me a major headache in high school, and I am not quite sadistic enough to try again.)
Any books that could come with the accompaning study quide or self tests included would be a HUGE bonus. Also anyone with a book about Preemies Ill take in any condition. So PM if you have some to get rid off.
I have numerous math textbooks, Algebra, Trig, Calculus. I have an Abnormal Psychology book and a very interesting history textbook from the 40s during world war II. I know I have more but will have to dig them up.
PM me if interested and I will send you the actual titles and post them. They will cost a bundle to ship though. They are all big hardcover books. We can talk...I really do need to get rid of them and would love someone to actually get something out of them. I too LOVE to learn!
My mom just dumped a box of books at my house to get rid of for her, there were a bunch of college textbooks that were my brother's (so they never been used) LOL... j/k So I have listed and am willing to make a deal on these :
The Economy Today
Literature: An Introduction to REading and Writing
New A+ Certification Training Guide
Teaching Them to Read
Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary
so make me an offer if your interested in any or all of these.
I have an unpostable Personal Finance textbook (water damage, but only on the cover) and an in depth history text about what led up to the Holocaust. Both were very interesting and I learned a lot from them.
I also have a book that I didn't buy as a text book, but I really learned a lot from it too - The Iraq War Reader.
I can send all 3 for one credit- PM me if you're interested.
