Hi,

I was looking for help in these areas for a friend. Has anyone used Toe by Toe for Reading? Or Rewards for spelling?

I'd like people's opinion of the best used homeschool books for sale sites. Just getting started and any suggestions are

appreciated! What is your favorite 1st grade science? social studies?

I live in PA.  If he googles homeschool in PA or more specific his county.  He can stumble upon homeschool groups.  I google homeschool laws and branched off from there.

A book that may help is Home learning year by year by Rebecca Rupp.  I use this as a guide as I build my son's curriculum.  He just started a kindergarten curricullum this fall.  He is for years old . He will be 5 in December.

The learn at home books has  Reading, Language, Math and Science, Social Studies and Gross/Fine moter -planned out for you.

Hope this helps

Holly

Thanks Holly,

That is a big help! I have used that book myself in the past. What a great idea!

I have some good friends that are a part of Aleithia which is a cooperative that is very supportive and successful.  I know adults that were homeschooled and went to it while they were of schooling age and are now working, in college or married.  I also know some younger kids that go there and enjoy it.  To learn more go to aleithia.org.  Hope you find what you need!
