I just wanted to say how thankful I am to have found paperback swap and to have discovered this forum for mystery books lovers!!! I have found so many authors I have never heard of, met and made new friends, and been overwhelmed by the generosity and camaraderie of the men and women on this forum. Going to the mailbox is now such a treat!

I am a SAHM to four very young children, and sometimes it can be overwhelming and I often feel isolated. It is so comforting and cozy to log in here and find people with similar interests all over the U.S. (and elsewhere?) who love similar authors and have a passion for sharing their favorite books and authors eagerly with new members. I have felt very welcome here, and this is my new favorite website!

I only maintain a small bookshelf at present, but I do hope to one day be able to offer the diverse books and authors most of you do, to be able to share as wonderfully as I have been shared with!

Heee! I love this place too! I've only been a member since the end of December but I've read 30+ books since joining. My favorite "new" authors, courtesy of the fine people here, include Charles Todd, Donna Leon, Julia Spencer-Fleming and others. I keep "pushing" C. J. Box and Craig Johnson and I know of at least one person who has taken me up on one of them. :) It's nice to be a member of such a nice community.

I think many of us are in the same boat Leslie.  I found this place almost 3 years ago (my swapaversary is the 16th of this month).  My kids were 5, 3, 2, & 10 months. I desperately needed adult contact.  And I found so much more.  I too am so thankful for PBS.

Add me to the PBS thankful list :)  I love finding some of my "missing" mysteries on PBS!

And I am thankful too. Although I am at the other end of the spectrum. I found this site just as I retired a year ago .I have spent this whole year reading ,mailing and enjoying new authors and series I had never encountered before.

Me too! I went from working 60 hrs a week to being a SAHM and was quite lost and looking for some interaction. I found that and more here at PBS.  It'll be 2 years here in a couple of weeks and I've found some treasures, both books and friends!!!

I am very thankful for PBS too!  I just started reading cozies (thanks to ya'll) and I love them so far! I have a 4 month old and I am sleep deprived (like many people!) and these are the perfect "light" reading. I made a list of favorites and have been ordering the first books of many series. Keep the favorites coming!!
