Tammie, the monthly thread to list wishes states right at the top: "Please remember that we do not offer money for items we wish for because PBS frowns upon that. It also lessens the spirit of this thread and the forum." I hope that is helpful -- you're being very generous in offering the Sizzix. |

Yes, it's against the rules to ask for credits and against the spirit of RAOK to ask for postage. |

I have no problem with this rule and it is exactly what I thought....send an item just for the act of being kind. HOWEVER, because members Pm'Ed with offers of credits/ postage , I came back here to ask if it was ok to accept. Perhaps while people were sending me numerous angry & stern messages about how wrong it was to ASK for credits ( which I did not do) ...they also should have been just as adamant that is was WRONG TO offer Credits in the first place. So, instead of getting the help doing this the right way like I asked, I got punished by PBS for trying to do something nice with my account being place on hold. Sometimes it just isn't worth the effort of trying to do nice things for others.........

I agree Tammie. I had a similar issue last year and istead of just pointing me in the right direction kindly, all I got was nasty emails and scoldings. Of course it took two weeks for someone to answer me as to why it was wrong even though I immediately addressed it. Why assume the worst in people automaticaly?! |
