Very enjoyable historical. Likeable characters and some laugh out loud scenes. Ian MacKay meets Katherine at the Scottish court. He's very put out when she avoids him, as he's know as the "Thief of Hearts." But Katherine has an ulterior motive in avoiding him.

I really love this story! The heroine was tall and while not beautiful the hero still found her to be everything he wanted in a woman. Terrific ending.

Wonderful characters- Amazon heroine with hero to match. Story set in Scotland of 1411, the future king James is in the Tower,growing more bitter each day. Kate is sent to the Scottish court as a spy, only to learn that her whole plan is useless before she even starts. She is warned away from "Ian the Thief of Hearts" who is at the center of the intrigue. Kate's efforts to accomplish her mission are met with interference and hilarious misunderstanding by the amorous MacKay.

This book was cute. A very nice falling in love with a highlander read. I liked both characters. It had a few laugh out loud times as well. Sandy Blair is a good write
