The Thief Lord is a great book for young adults by the celebrated German author Cornelia Funke. There are many twists to the plot as Prospero and Bo try to avoid being adopted by their snooty aunt.

Clever and oh so charming. It's well written, like Harry Potter, and this adult loves anything by Cornelia Funke.

I REALLY liked this book. Just enough fantasy to make it interesting without going overboard. :)
