Loved this book! It is great independently or as a sequel to Rain of Gold. It is written so brilliantly! A+!

Fine book. Not as good as rain of gold but a very good sequel in the series. Better than Wild steps of heaven I think. The series should be read in sequence since all of them have more meaning because of the references back to the earlier ones.

Lovely, lovely book about a Mexican family in old California. Had the same feel for me as "Like Water for Chocolate".
