I am now nearly 50 years old. I first read this book by Mary Dutton when I was a young teenager. I have read it well over twenty times. Why do I keep returning? I love the characters as they remind me of my youth and if you are a fan of "To Kill a Mockingbird" then this book is very similar. I highly recommend it to everyone.
