Hi.  I ordered a book from the newly posted list and then checked to see what else they had on their bookshelf.  Found another book and added it to the list.  How is it that they're from two different senders now?

What did I do??

A couple of common reasons this happens (1) the sender cancelled the requests for some reason and they were rolled to the next people in line with the books or (2) while you were on their shelf instead of hitting the order this book button, you clicked into the book details or hovered and got the yellow pop up and you selected Order This Book from one of those screens and that would place the order with the first person in line with the book, not the member who you meant to request from.  The best way to make sure you order from the same person is the Order More From This Member button, it doesn't give as nice of screen to view and read about the books, but it ensures you stay on that bookshelf.

Thanks, Melanie.  I'm going to watch for that and be a lot more careful in the future.  ; )

Almost every time I order multiple books from one person (when none are WL) they end up rolling over to other members - and of course - they are then split up and mailed separately.

I did this once.  I suspect that you had clicked on the book to read the information on the book and clicked the "order book" button from there, instead of from the original member's bookshelf.  By doing that, you ordered the second book from the fifo list not from the bookshelf.  It's an easy mistake to make.
