I've never read any of his books before. He has a thriller coming out in March that looks pretty good , 'Never Look Away'. The previews on Amazon are promising a real suspenseful book. I placed it on my WL. Now, I'm wondering what you all think of his other books.

I have only tried one of his books, Bad Move, I think it was called. I got the impression it was supposed to have sort of a funny tone to the book, but to me the humor just felt really forced and unnatural...kind of like being stuck in a room with your brother-in-law who thinks he's funny, but isn't if you know what I mean. LOL I don't think I got beyond 30 or 40 pages before I gave up. I know there are people who really like him, though. I think he writes non-series thrillers as well as the one mystery series I tried, so maybe his NS books are different, I don't know.

I've only read No Time for Goodbye Author: Linwood Barclay ISBN-13: 9780553590425 but I loved it, and have since been gathering his other books. It is a very unusual mystery, believable characters, quite suspenseful. Debbie

I have several of his, I guess they were some of his earlier stuff - Bad Move, Lone Wolf, Bad Guys and Stone Rain.  But like with sooo many, I haven't gotten around to reading them yet!  Don't know how these books do it, but they are just a multiplyin'!
