I was just wondering about your thoughts on the book "Three Bags Full". I just started it and it is ok so far but was wondering what others thought. |

I thought it was wonderful! The sheep are as nuanced, individual and personable as any human cast of characters you'll find, and their observations of the human characters are both funny in their (the sheep's) literal interpretations (they think the local minister is "God"), but also offer some "deeper" insight into human behavior as well. The finale at the Mad Boar is laugh out loud funny. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would buy a sequel of the sheep's further adventures in a heartbeat! |

I was lukewarm about it. I finished it, but I bogged down for awhile in the middle. I found the sheep's musings to be tiresome, and it was more psychological than I was looking for. I enjoyed the sheep's take on the human condition and I liked the way the author let us in on how Sir Ritchfield's twin (Melman?) and Othello came by their words of wisdom. |

I'm about halfway through the book, reading it on CD, and while I don't think it lives up to the review that made me want to read it, I am enjoying it. The performer who is reading has given a different voice to each sheep, which helps me remember who's who. |
