Absolutely loved it. Had already read "The Big Sky" and really liked it too. It's the quintessential cowboy rancher book. His writing is wonderful!

I highly recommend this book. Even if you are not a western fan you'll enjoy it. It really get's into the heart and soul of Lat Evans, who started out as a farm boy in Oregon and ended as an influential rancher in Wyoming. Full of action.
