This "I Can Read" book is in the same mode as the Little Bear series. Simple but charming text tells the story of three little kittens and their mother. There are four "stories" within the book (chapters) one for each of the kittens and then the last chapter is about the whole family exploring the big world outside their own fence. Sweet, gentle illustrations lend to the simplicity of the stories.
