An older Sandra Brown novel I had never read before. It was excellent, just as all her other novels are.
Very funny and entertaining story about two twins who switch places only to have everything fall apart!! Great characters and love story!! Sandra Brown has done it again!!
A very nice love story. A quick read, you will enjoy it.
Great book about twin sisters, Annie and Allison. A very fast read.
Oh, why had she let Ann talk her into this masquerade, Allison thought wildly as her twin's fiance Davis embraced his "bride-to-be." Even two days seemed forever to the shy, serious scientist pretending to be the graceful, charming, sexy sister -- and making a mess of it!
Then there was Spencer Raft. The dashing man of mystery was Davis's best friend and undeniably attracted to "Ann," and couldn't understand why she responded to him as if no other man had ever touched her. When at last the charade was over, Allison retreated to her lab, safe from the spell of the devastating stranger -- until Spencer offered her his special help in an unusual experiment in love...
A cute story of a twin who takes her sister's place for only a few days but long enough to know she's headed for trouble.
Super quick and enjoyable read! I finished in about two hours.
The "twins switching places" thing has been done and done to death, but it is a plot device that I enjoy if it is done well. Sandra Brown is an excellent writer, so this was a great, fast read.
large print, romantic comedy about twins!
Shy research scientist Allison Leamon reluctantly agrees to impersonate her vivacious twin sister, Ann, for a few days while she's out of town. Her first challenge is having dinner with Anns fiance, Davis, and his handsome friend, Spencer. As Allison tries to carry off the charade, she realizes there's an instant attraction between her and Spencer. She's far too logical to believe in love at first sight. But Spencer is a man who can read a woman like a book and knows Allison wants him as uch as he wants her. As he tries to convince this intractable skeptic that here's more to life than a lab, he decides to cook up an experiment of his own...........
Entertaining romantic comedy.
Allison Leamon knew that pretending to be her identical twin sister was a bad idea. For although the two redheads looked exactly alike, they couldn't be more different. How could a no-nonsense scientist like Allison possibly fool anyone into thinking that she was the bubbly, vivacious Annie? Trading her sensible shoes for strappy sandals, her eyeglasses for contacts, and her lab smock for a chiffon dress, Allison was determined to try her best. Her first challenge was a dinner date with Annie's fiancéé, Davis. But what Allison didn't expect was the presence of Davis's best friend. Allison was far too logical to believe in love at first sight, but there was nothing logical about the way she was responding to Spencer Raft. He sensed the flesh-and-blood woman beneath the elaborate charade, and after years of wandering the world in search of excitement, he knew he had finally found what he had been looking for. But first this incurable romantic had to convince an intractable skeptic that there was more to love than what she could study in a laboratory. And what better way than to propose a passionate experiment of his own? On board his yacht, Spencer and Allison would fulfill their wildest fantasies and deepest desires; but when their blissful idyll was over, would it all prove to be no more than a pleasant interlude - or the real thing?
ALLISON LEAMON KNEW THAT PRETENDING TO BE HER TWIN SISTER WAS A BAD IDEA. FOR ALTHOUGH THE TWO RED HEADS LOOKED EXACTLY ALIKE THEY COULDN'T BE MOVR DIFFERENT
I have never read this book.
