An engrossing story of a sixty-ish woman finding love outside a long-time, empty marriage. Sometimes, though, it was so frustrating to watch Jeanie be manipulated by her husband and daughter, and agonizing to witness her navigate her misplaced guilt. I couldn't bear to see her make stupid choices and temporarily lose her chance at a fulfilling relationship with Ray. Thankfully, she comes out strong in the end. This is a worthy and quick read at 4 stars.
