I purchased this as a textbook for a graphic design course. It's wonderful if you're a Tibor Kalman fan which I soon found out that I'm not. But there is a lot of insight into his character and irreverent approach to design which is interesting, and there are literally tons (really, it's a heavy coffee table book) of photographs and writings that illustrate Kalman's point of view. There are also many writings regarding the infamous Benetton ads.
