This was a neat book. Daley dealt with a number of issues that you don't often see in "light" romance. One of the main characters in this book was bi-polar (manic-depression). While the story did not center around that fact, it did play a part in the plot... and it was handled well and honestly. The issue of bullying was also a big part of this story... as well as gossip and rumors. Daley really jumped out on a limb and looked at some of the nastiness in our society.. and she did a great job. She balanced it with good.. something I appreciated. The story centers on a new man in town, Chance, who rents a garage apartment from Tanya. Tanya is a widow with a teenage daughter, who is paralyzed and in a wheelchair. Another issue covered in this book. Neither Tanya or Chance are looking for a relationship... and Chance has no interest in God, but of course all that changes. Along the way, there are lessons in standing up for yourself... trusting in the Lord... forgiveness... and more.
