This book is about a young girl that lives in Nazi Occupied Germany during WW2 and is greatly affected by the war. She is not Jewish but lives on a farm and her Mother is forced to "keep" prisoners of war on their farm to work. She meets many different characters throughout the story, very well written and a very fresh perspective. Enjoyable!!!!!
