A lovely read. Hero has a lot of trust issues where the heroine is concerned. She acts like a mature, responsible adult during their difficult times. She becomes pregnant fairly early; I enjoyed the way the author portrayed this part of the bk, especially the hero's fascination with heroine's changing body and the developement of their child.

Heroine's father has wronged a lot of people in his life but his daughter loves him anyway. This is one older character (he's 59, I believe) whose story I loved to read.

Bk has a wonderful, emotional ending.

isn't that just like life to mirror something out of Romes and Juliet? And Benedict Cassidy has good cause to hate Emily Mackenzie's father'the corporate pirate stole his company. So what if Emily-s pregnant with Ben's child? Or that he can't help loving her? She's still a traitor and the daughter of a traitor. And forgiveness doesn't come easily to Ben.

If Emily hadn't agreed to harry him, he'd have fought the woman for custody once the baby was born. Instead, he's going to watch his wife like a hawk until he's got his business back and his child safely in his arms.
