Bech a Book :: John Updike

Has been on my list since the day I signed up.  Funny thing about it was that it was on someone's wishlist at the time, but never has been ordered.  I am doing a 6 for one this weekend, so add that book to a deal and get 7 for 1!

A Gift of Miracles : Magical True Stories To Touch Your Family's Heart

Author: Jamie Miller, Jennifer B. Sander

Book Description:
This treasury of all-new true miracle stories from the bestselling authors of Christmas Miracles, The Magic of Christmas Miracles, and Mothers' Miracles offers the real-life wonder their readers have come to love. Some highlights:

A disk jockey's selection of music has an astounding unintended effect a comatose Polish woman begins to softly sing along with a song from her childhood.

While bodysurfing, a man is slammed by a wave and hears his neck snap. Unable to move, he begins to swallow water to hasten death. Instead, he feels himself lifted from the water, gliding safely to shore.

A school janitor befriends a student, only to learn that she is the daughter of his long-lost son and his very own granddaughter.

A Gift of Miracles, like its predecessors, will remind readers and their families that in the midst of our hectic and sometimes frightening world, magic, mystery, and miracles happen. And that if we look hard enough in the corners of our own lives, we, too, can find miracles.

These books have been on my shelf for 1 year... ever since I signed up with PBS and I'd love for them to find a new home.

Season's Of Her Life ...Fern Michaels

Winter Solstice ... Rosamunde Pilcher

Weep No More, My Lady...Mary Higgins Clark

Sweet Liar...Jude Deveraux

The Carpenter's Lady...Barbara Delinksy

I will make a deal on any of these books... order one or more of these books and get any other book from my shelf free ... that's order one of the above, get another book free. Please post here so people know what's been taken and also pm me. Offer is good until all five are taken.

Forgot to mention all books are from a non-smoking home, but I do have cats who love to sit in my lap while I read.
