Love this book! I love it so much that when I went to New York without it, I wound up buying a duplicate copy. If you're familiar with Time Out guides, you know how thorough and helpful they can be. This edition includes great restaurant, bar and shopping recommendations, as well as listings for galleries, parks, museums. Each walk is written by a different author, includes a comprehensive map, and will show you a whole new side of this complicated, crazy, magical city. Favorite walks include a "rock and roll shopping spree" in Greenwich Village, a literary trek through the East Village and "flea market fun" in Soho and Union Square. Don't leave home without it!
