I read this book with my favorite theme in mind(  Boy , girl , grow up together, have a relationship as teens .something happens and they dont see each other

for years)  Its romance, but has a mystery storyline. I really enjoyed this book, But ,what I'm wondering is " Is there any other romance books in this time 1933 ?

I dont know of any.

Dorothy Garlock wrote a trilogy - the Route 66 series. They were:

Mother Road

Hope's Highway

Song of the Road

All of these take place in the 1930's.  I enjoyed them.

The only book I can think of that is set in the 1930s, during the Depression, is Sandra Brown's RAINWATER. I don't know how 'romance'y it is, though. I just remember the setting because I was excited to see a new Brown book when it came out.

I think Jude Devereaux has some set in the 20's or 30's.

I have 2 books set during WWII-so late 30's/early 40's.  Blood Moon Over Britain and Blood Moon Over Bengal by Morag McKendrick Pippen.  I haven't read them yet so I can't offer an opinion.

Stay a Little Longer and Keep a Little Secret by Dorothy Garlock are 1920's- 1930's.

The Moon Looked Down is 1940's.

Google "books set in the 1930's".  This should give you some good ideas.
