I would read them in order, but I am rather fanatic about reading series or books that are linked together like this in order. The second one will make much more sense if you read the first one first!

You will be sorry if you read them out of order!! You will know things you don't want to know in book 1 also.

Definitely read the first one first - it sets up the whole situation, characters, etc.

My favorite books! Definitely read them in order; I can't imagine that you would enjoy them as much reading the second first. Worth waiting for ! Debbie
