I just wondered if anyone could recommend some good Time Travel Romances. I really appreciate it! :) |

Try Lauren Willig. She has a set of four starting with The History of the Pink Carnation. They're not true time travel (so I wouldn't really put them in the paranormal category) in the fact that one person goes back in time but the idea of the story goes from present day back to Edwardian England (or Regency or something way back when! lol) and back to present again. There is a romance and plot in both time periods. They are THE best set of books. I wouldn't classify them as a "true" romance with lots of sex and bodice ripping but rather I'd classify it as a mixture of intrigue, chick lit and historical romance. I'm reading The Seduction of the Crimson Rose now - it's the 4th and latest book. |

My favorite are Karen Marie Moning's Highlander series. Highlander They are funny, sexy and full of great characters. The descriptions kind of make the books sounds hokey but I didn't find them that way at all. In fact I want to have them in my library again and am kicking myself for trading them. Now I have to start all over again. lol Last Edited on: 3/21/08 9:02 AM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

This book is on my TBR pile so can't tell ya if it's good but many people love
this book. Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I just got up and pulled it off my
shelf and it looks like something you'd be interested in.

The Outlander series is an amazing series. The books are long but they grab you in and you don't want to let go. :) Great suggestion. I forgot about them. |

Jude Deveraux spins some good time-travels (Legend, Knight in Shining Armor, The Summer House) Allie McKay has a highlander time-travel series out (Highlander in her Bed, Highlander in her Dreams) Marianne Mancusi has a few fun ones (A Hoboken Hipster in Sherwood Forest, A Connectica Fashionista in King Arthur's Court) |

Jude Deveraux' Legend is the one that got me hooked on TT's. |

I heartily agree with Diana Galbaldon's Outlander series, which is likely my very favorite series of all time. Karen Marie Moning's highlander books are fantastic and have gotten progressively more steamy! |

I agree with Karen Marie Moning and Diane Gabaldon series. Excellent. I also liked The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. Which the are making a movie of, it's got Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams in it. Looks like it might be good. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0452694/ |

Diana Gabaldon and Karen Marie Moning are very very good. I also enjoyed the "Viking II" series by Sandra Hill. They're so funny and hot! Here's the order (you have to read them in order IMO) The Last Viking Truly, Madly Viking The Very Virile Viking Wet and Wild Hot and Heavy Rough and Ready Down and Dirty

The Raven's Lady by Anne Manning. I don't read a lot of Time Travel romances. This one is from New Concepts Publishing. I really enjoyed it. |

The Masters of Time series by Brenda Joyce is pretty good.....umm..there was another one I just read, but I can't remember the title or anything. ETA: Sorry...the other one was Master of the Highlands by Veronica Wolff. It was really good and there is another. Sword of the Highlands coming out in the summer. I will add my vote to Karen Marie Moning, if you read them in order don't get discouraged if they don't grab you right away. I have to say I wasn't sold until the Kiss of the Highlander and then it was all over. YUM Another time traveling Highlander series is by Janet Chapman. I really enjoyed it too. Lighter series, but still vey good and steamy. ( and can I say what is about time traveling Scotsman anyway?? I am guessing a time traveling Frenchman isn't as sexy??) Thanks for the recommendations on Sandra Hill and Veronica Wolf. Haven't read either of those yet! |
