I have two books that I have requested that seem as if they should have timed out - or do things change if they have been accepted? Is this where the two day grace period comes in? Requested On: 3/24/09 8:34 PM ET Requested On: 3/26/09 3:07 AM ET

Yup, 2 day grace period is in effect right now for those transactions. If they don't mark it mailed, the order will cancel or roll over to the next member at around 3 AM on April 3rd (on the East coast at least). Last Edited on: 4/1/09 3:01 PM ET - Total times edited: 2 |

I would PM them and ask if they forgot to mark them mailed. Then if they did and just forgot you can maybe stop the request from going to the next person and ending up with 2 copies. |

Thanks! That's what I thought. What's most frustrating is that they are both on their second requestees. I've had a rash of things timing out recently. |

I had one book like that a few months ago. I thought I'd never get it. First someone made me a BOB offer and I chose the book. She had the only copy-well it was already pending in another BOB offer. They don't remove the book from the shelf until the deal is finalized. So I put the book on my WL. It was posted twice and timed out. Finally the 3rd time I got the book. |

One of the books was marked sent - yay! I got a PM from the second one - they can't find the book, and it's now been requested from person #3. LOL. ETA - Mary - I read your suggestion re: weeding out inactice accounts in the CMT forum, and I think that is a great idea.
