I recycle cans for my garden decorating. I make flowers out of them also label for the plant in the garden.  Soft drink cans are easy to cut and do not rust. I use a maker and write what the plant is and attach it to a stick. The kids like to paint them and put funny saying on them.

that is a good idea...if I had a garden!   I always consider it but really do not have the yard for it (all slopes and one area might work but then I'd need to figure out a fence to keep critters out!)

I make alcohol stoves out of my pop cans. They are great for camping. Cost of commercial stove: $100. Cost of my stove: 20 cents. 0 cents if I use a non-returnable juice can. (In Michigan only carbonated soda cans are returnable, this does not include tea, juice, energy drinks, vegetable juice, etc.)
