The 19th and Last of the excellent AMELIA PEABODY adventures, a uniquely informative and entertaining--and well written series set in time the heyday of archeological excavations in Egypt and in place between Kent, England and Egypt.

Sadly, Barbara Mertz (September 29,1927 August 8, 2013)died this year at the age of 86. She was an American author who wrote under her own name as well as under the pseudonyms Elizabeth Peters and Barbara Michaels.

We will miss you, Amelia!
