Very enjoyable. I've read the Brady books out of order so this book filled in the gaps of Joanna's backstory.

the continuing growth of the main character as she deals with life and work is interesting. Mysteries in the book are realistic and solved realistically

The story of how Joanna Brady becomes elected to Sheriff. Wonderful story that includes some twists and turns. Great introduction (Book #2) and good to read this series in order, but definitely not necessary. Highly recommend.
