British author, almost all about the politics (what Hitler and Churchill, etc. were thinking),and grand strategy, not a lot on the battles. There is extensive treatment on thr resistance and what went on behind German lines. I'm not sure why the sub-title is called "The Western Hemisphere", it's a pretty traditional synoptic organization of the book through Stalingrad.
